Insan Organization for Rights and Freedoms strongly condemns, in the strongest terms, the participation of the so-called Presidential Leadership Council’s government—formed by the coalition—in the naval military exercise led by the United States, with the participation of the Israeli entity and several other countries, in the ports of Eilat and Aqaba and the northern Red Sea, which took place between February 9 and 20, 2025.
The organization considers this step by the Aden government as an implicit recognition of the occupying entity and a blatant violation of Yemeni constitutional provisions that criminalize normalization with Israel. It also contradicts the will of the Yemeni people, who reject Israeli dominance in the region.
Participating in any activity within the occupied Palestinian territories is deemed complicity with the usurping entity of Palestine and constitutes a moral and political setback that betrays the struggle of the Yemeni people and the immense sacrifices made in defense of the Palestinian cause.
The organization calls on the "Presidential Leadership Council’s government" to reject dubious international invitations to such military activities or political engagements that legitimize Israel’s presence in the region. It further demands that all those who participated in or facilitated this national betrayal be prosecuted under Article (126) of the Yemeni Penal Code, which criminalizes collaboration with the enemy.
Insan Organization reminds the world that Yemenis, who have shed their blood for their stance against Israeli occupation, will not allow their homeland to be sold in secret or public normalization markets.
