The Human Rights and Freedoms Organization Insan strongly condemns the Israeli aggression on the capital Sana’a and Al-Jawf Governorate on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, which resulted in the martyrdom of 35 civilians and the injury of 131 others, including journalists, as a preliminary toll, in addition to the destruction of civilian buildings, among them the headquarters of 26 September newspaper and several residential homes.
The organization denounces Israeli claims of the presence of rocket launchers in the middle of a densely populated residential neighborhood, considering such allegations as a pretext to justify targeting civilians and civilian objects, which constitutes a blatant violation of international humanitarian law and human rights conventions.
Insan affirms that these hostile acts will not go unaccountable and calls on the international community and human rights organizations to take urgent action to protect civilians and hold those responsible for these crimes accountable.
The organization also reiterates its full solidarity with the victims and their families, urging the provision of urgent humanitarian support for the injured and those affected by the aggression.
