Insan Organization for Rights and Freedoms strongly condemns the Israeli military's targeting of the civilian displaced persons camp in the Mawasi Khan Yunis area of the Gaza Strip, which has resulted in the deaths and injuries of dozens of innocent victims. Targeting unarmed civilians, especially in displacement areas where residents seek safety away from the conflict, constitutes a blatant violation of international humanitarian law and the Geneva Conventions, which stipulate the protection of civilians during times of war.
We at the Insan Organization call on the international community to take immediate action to stop these repeated assaults and hold those responsible accountable. We emphasize the need to provide necessary protection for civilians and ensure that humanitarian aid reaches them without obstacles. We assert that the continuation of this dangerous escalation will only lead to more suffering and loss of life, and it threatens peace and stability in the region.
