Insan Organization for Rights and Freedoms strongly condemns and deeply denounces the flagrant aggression of the Israeli entity by assassinating the head of the political bureau of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, through a missile strike that targeted his residence in the Iranian capital Tehran, where he had arrived to participate in the inauguration ceremony of the Iranian President Massoud Bazshkian.
This act represents a blatant violation of international law and international covenants and treaties that prohibit any attacks on individuals in sovereign states.
The organization affirms that this attack poses a serious threat to international peace and security, and reinforces the dragging of the region into a widespread war whose consequences will be dire for the entire world.
Insan Organization for Rights and Freedoms calls on the international community, the United Nations, and the Security Council to take the necessary measures to immediately stop the escalating hostile acts by the Israeli entity against the countries of the region.
