Insan Organization for Rights and Freedoms condemns in the strongest terms the Israeli airstrikes on the Port of Hodeidah and the targeting of oil tanks and the power station. These barbaric attacks, which have resulted in several martyrs and wounded, represent a blatant violation of international humanitarian law and endanger the lives and livelihoods of innocent civilians.
The targeting of vital infrastructure at the Port of Hodeidah exposes the country to a humanitarian catastrophe, as millions of Yemenis rely on this port to meet their basic needs for food and medicine. Additionally, the destruction of oil tanks and the power station exacerbates the humanitarian crisis in Yemen, which is already suffering from a severe shortage of essential resources.
Insan Organization calls on the international community to intervene immediately to stop these attacks and ensure the protection of civilians and vital infrastructure.
We emphasize that the suffering of the Yemeni people should be a top priority for the international community, given the war imposed on them for ten years by the Arab coalition under American supervision.
